Who can apply

  • Studying in Class 8 to Class 12
  • Born between 1 August 2007 and 31 July 2014 (IOQM 2026 cycle)
  • Eligible to hold an Indian passport
  • Must not have joined any college/university before June 2026
  • OCI students may appear in some stages but cannot represent India at the IMO

Exam pattern

  • Single objective paper, typically 30 questions in 3 hours
  • Every answer is an integer from 00 to 99, so there are no options to guess between
